Sara put two words together for the first time tonight. She was sitting in her high chair and started saying "out. cheez. out." It took me a while to realize that she was pointing to some cheerios that had fallen between the removable tray and the fixed tray of her high chair. She wanted to get the Cheerios ("cheez") out.
I don't know if it's a sign of things to come in the near or distance future, but it's surely a sign of things to come.
