I finished The Namesake a few days ago. Hmm. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Maybe it was built up too much by my friends' enthusiasm? I liked the story, and it was well-written, but it was too much narration for me. I mean, the narrator told just about everything and showed too little. I wanted more dialogue and a little less commentary. But that's just me.
I haven't decided yet what I'll read next. Any suggestions?

I finished Namesake and really enjoyed it. I could really identify with the strong cultural heritage and yet being American.
